Roofing Insulation

Roofing installation, as seen below, can only be done in the warmest weather where there is limited exposure to snow and rain. The first 4 photos are in Phoenix, Arizona.

Roofing installation in colder areas such as Calgary, can only be done on flat roofs when the roofing is being replaced. While the new roofing is being placed on the home or commercial building, Arctic Clad is placed underneath. It can be placed under tar and gravel, shingles, clay, or Duro-last roofing product and is very effective. Other types of roofing insulation such as the photo below can be placed directly under a new roof that has been built on a modular home, after the new roof is constructed.

Most flat roofs can only be insulated when roofing material is being replaced. However if your building is commercial and there is access like the example with Costco below, insulation can be placed on the inside of the flat roof.  This applies to steel buildings, and cloth based tent structures as well (please see commercial insulation photo gallery).
