Roof Insulation
A lot of homes have either flat roofs or vaulted ceilings, during construction they place very little insulation in these roofs and vaulted ceilings. Normally up to only a R10! This just does not do the job when the current building specifications are now an R40 in attics.
Our flat roofs and vaulted ceilings are very ecstatically pleasing however they increase our energy bills.
Most flat and vaulted ceiling buildings can only be insulated when the roof is building is being redone.
Arctic Clad because of its durable construction can be placed directly on top of the roof. Now this depends on the type of roof you presently have. If we are unable to place Arctic Clad on top of the your existing we roof we have two solutions.
Arctic Clad insulation installed inside on vaulted ceilings
Arctic Clad insulation can be installed inside on your existing vaulted ceilings, what we do is place a strapping around your existing ceiling and apply Arctic Clad, we then restore your ceiling to its existing state.
This procedure works on vaulted ceilings and flat roofs. This way you actually do not have to replace your roofing material.
Arctic Clad and Duro-Last roofing material
Arctic Clad has been fully approved to work with Duro-Last Roofing material, so if you do happen to need a roof we first install Kozzy Wrap on your existing roof then place Duro-Last roofing product directly over the installation.
This allows you to get the great insulation value of Arctic Clad and a new roof replacement at the same time.
Again in most cases we do not have to replace your existing roof unless necessary.
